You can now purchase your ticket for the Winakwa Community Club social event planned for Saturday, July 5th, 2008 at 8pm - 1am. No ticket is required for the Meet-and-Greet on Friday, July 4th.

Tickets will be available for pick up at the “Open House and Pot Luck” on Friday or at the “Social” on Saturday. Anyone who purchased tickets prior to the $20 rate will be issued a cash refund for the difference at the door on Saturday.

Friday, July 4th
Self-guided School Tour, 6pm to 8pm @ Windsor Park Collegiate. Children welcome. Please note that there may be furniture in hallways as “spring cleaning” will have started. Be careful as the school and the committee will not be held responsible if there is an injury. Don’t forget to take in our grad class pictures which are mounted directly across from the school office. The tour will be followed with an
Open House and Pot-Luck, 7pm - Midnight @ Lawrence Thibert’s house. 73 Goldthorpe Cr., off Dakota in River Park South. Ph# 257-2993. Children welcome. Please bring your own liquor and chairs if possible. If you could bring a pot luck dish or a snack item, it would be appreciated. Coolers, utensils, etc. will be provided. We will be outdoors; inside the garage and under a canopy, and if the weather holds up we will have a bonfire in the back yard. If you can stay to help clean up afterwards, that would be fantastic! Thank you Lawrence for your generous offer to open your home!
Saturday, July 5th
Social, 8pm to 1am, Winakwa Community Centre, 980 Winakwa Rd. directly north of Windsor Park Collegiate. All are welcome including family, friends and former schoolmates from other grades, etc. Your home grown Manitoba social – please dress smart casual. A light snack will be provided later in the evening. Cash bar available with a variety of beer, coolers, hard liquor and wine. Please! No drinking and driving. Manitoba laws have now become very strict in this regard. Consider taxis, rides or other arrangements like Transit Tom! Your help in clearing tables and removing decorations at the end of the evening is greatly appreciated!
